Complete SOLIDWORKS V12 Engine Design
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need a production-ready 3D model of a V12 engine built entirely in SOLIDWORKS. The goal is to take the finished assembly straight into prototype manufacturing, so every moving and stationary part—block, crank, pistons, valves, timing gear, lubrication passages, fasteners, even gasket seats—must be fully modeled and accurately constrained.
I don’t have drawings to hand you. Part of the assignment is researching real-world V12 dimensions, tolerances, and component relationships, then translating that data into a clean parametric CAD structure. Feel free to draw on manufacturer manuals, SAE papers, or teardown photos—whatever is needed to make the model mechanically faithful.
Because this will guide machining and 3-D printing, the build needs:
• A single top-level assembly with clearly named sub-assemblies and configurations (exploded, sectioned, running animation).
• All parts defined as editable SLDPRT files, no dumb solids or imported surfaces.
• Motion study proving crank/rod/piston kinematics and valve timing without interference.
• Fully detailed 2-D drawings for critical components (block, head, crankshaft, camshafts) with standard GD&T.
Acceptance will be based on:
1. Smooth rebuild in SOLIDWORKS 2022 or later with no missing references.
2. Interference check showing zero hard clashes throughout 720° of crank rotation.
3. Pack-and-Go folder delivered as a ZIP plus STEP export for cross-platform use.
