Compact Steel Spiral Staircase Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a full engineering design for a spiral staircase that fits comfortably within a 1.8 m × 1.8 m clear opening. The structure must be all–steel and include continuous handrails integrated into the layout.
Please size the central column, treads, stringers and fixings so they meet normal residential live-load requirements and any relevant code you work with (let me know which one you follow). I’ll supply floor-to-floor height and any site measurements you request as soon as we start.
Deliverables I’m expecting:
• 3D model (STEP or DWG) showing the complete assembly
• Fabrication drawings with plate thicknesses, bolt sizes and weld symbols
• Basic structural calculations confirming capacity and deflection
If you have a preference for painted, galvanized or powder-coated finishes let me know; I’m open to your recommendation once the design is finalized. Accuracy, clear detailing and buildability are my priorities, so please factor those into your workflow.
