Budget Wooden Coffin RFQ Docs
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I am putting together a complete Request for Quotation package for a simple, dignified wooden burial coffin that can be manufactured for €120 per unit. The coffin must follow set dimensions (I will supply the exact internal and external measurements once we start) and include modest custom touches: integrated carry-handles and a plain fabric lining—nothing ornate, just respectful and cost-efficient.
What I need from you is a two-part document set that speaks both to the buyer and to the factory:
• Buyer-facing file: a clean 3D or rendered mock-up plus clear, step-by-step assembly instructions that a non-technical purchasing team can understand.
• Manufacturer-facing file: detailed production drawings (CAD/DXF/SolidWorks or similar), material call-outs for solid or engineered wood, cut-list, hardware specs for the handles, fabric and padding specifications for the lining, and a line-item bill of materials showing how every part keeps the build cost within the €120 ceiling.
Exploded views, fastening details, and any jigs or tooling notes that make assembly repeatable will be appreciated. The BOM can sit in Excel or Google Sheets; everything else should be delivered in PDF alongside the native design files.
