Biometric Smart Lock Design

I’m developing a next-generation smart door lock built around biometrics and I’d like a creative partner to translate the concept into a fully detailed product design. The lock must authenticate owners through both fingerprint and facial recognition, blending the two sensors into an elegant, contemporary housing that complements modern apartment and home décor.

Visual appeal sits at the top of the priority list: slim profile, clean lines, and a finish that feels premium when mounted on the door. Of course, the hardware still needs to install easily and keep pace with market-standard security features, but every design choice should start from the question, “does this look beautiful on the door?”

What I need from you:
• Industrial design sketches that explore several form factors and finishes
• A refined 3D CAD model (STEP or SolidWorks preferred) of the chosen concept, including internal component layout for the fingerprint sensor, camera module, battery bay, and PCB
• Renderings that showcase day and night aesthetics as well as close-ups of the biometric interface
• An exploded view and basic material/finish indications so a manufacturer can quote tooling

Deliverables will be accepted once the CAD model opens without errors, the renderings clearly show both biometric interfaces, and the form stays within standard residential lock dimensions.
