Basswood Shelf Laser-Cut Design

Job ID: 40062629

Budget: $15 – $100 USD

I need a clean, functional design for a small organization shelf that I can cut from basswood on my laser cutter. It only has to support lightweight plastic items (specifically "GUNPLA runners", so strength requirements are modest—no glue/tape required for assembly, sturdy joinery without bulky reinforcements is ideal.

The finished piece should be defined in all three axes (height, width and depth). I’ll confirm the exact numbers with you once we start; please make the design parametric enough that minor tweaks won’t force a full redraw.

What I’m expecting from you
• A 3D model showing the assembled shelf
• Flat-pattern cut files (SVG or DXF) with kerf compensation for basswood sheets
• Simple tab-and-slot construction that press-fits or uses minimal glue
• An exploded or labelled view so I can see how everything goes together

If you’ve created laser-ready furniture or organizers before, especially in basswood, I’d love to see a sample. Looking forward to collaborating and getting this on my cutter soon.
