AutoCAD Product Modeling & Drafting

I’m taking a new mechanical product from concept to manufacture and I need an AutoCAD specialist to turn my hand-sketched ideas into production-ready files. The core of the work is mechanical product design, so I’ll rely on you for both clean 3D modelling and the corresponding technical drawings that a machinist or fabricator can follow without second-guessing.

Here’s how I picture the collaboration:

• You receive my sketches, reference photos and basic dimensions.
• You build an accurate 3D model in AutoCAD (solid or surface as appropriate), keeping everything fully parametric so late tweaks are painless.
• From that model you generate dimensioned 2D drawings—orthographic views, sections, tolerances, material and finish notes—ready for quoting or CNC programming.
• We iterate once or twice to nail down fit, clearances and aesthetics, then you deliver final DWG/DXF along with any neutral formats (STEP/IGES) I might need for CAM or 3-D printing.

Acceptance criteria
– 3D model matches supplied dimensions to ±0.1 mm
– Drawings include full dimensions, tolerances, title block and revision table
– All files open error-free in AutoCAD 2021 or later
