AutoCAD Household Item 3D Prep
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I have a household product sketched out and I now need it brought to life in AutoCAD, ready for reliable 3-D printing. I can share the basic concept drawing plus the main measurements; they’re close but not locked in, so I’m counting on you to refine the geometry, wall thicknesses, and tolerances so the piece prints cleanly on an FDM or SLA machine.
You’ll translate my sketch into a fully parametric AutoCAD model, check overhangs, add fillets or chamfers where sensible, and generally prepare it for hassle-free slicing. Once the CAD is final, export a watertight STL (and STEP for good measure) that I can send straight to the printer.
Deliverables
• Native AutoCAD file with organized layers
• Print-ready STL (and optional STEP/IGES)
• Brief note on recommended material, nozzle/ layer height, and any support considerations
I’m ready to get started as soon as I receive your turnaround estimate and any quick questions you might have about the approximate dimensions.
