AutoCAD 3D Modeling & Material Quantification for Two Art Installations

I am looking for an experienced AutoCAD designer (interior/architectural or product modeling background preferred) to create accurate 3D technical drawings and material quantity calculations for two large-scale art installations.

Both installations will be placed in an interior lobby space in front of a structural pillar.

Installation 1 – Suspended Fabric & Light Sculpture
• Height: 3 meters
• Width: 2.5 meters
• Composition:
• Multiple suspended draped fabric layers (soft textile, hammock-like forms)
• Integrated spherical light elements within the fabric
• need to look for a way to suspend as there are no hanging points on the top

Objective:
• Create full 3D AutoCAD model
• Detail suspension points and hanging system
• Estimate quantity of fabric required (sqm)
• Estimate number and size of light spheres
• Provide cable lengths and hardware count
• Provide overall structural logic for installation feasibility

Installation 2 – Vertical Rod Light Installation
• Height: 3 meters
• Width: 2.5 meters
• Composition:
• Dense vertical metal rods (stainless steel finish)
• Internal illuminated core
• Light radiating outward through rods
• Option A: Full circular core

• Objective:
• Create parametric 3D model of rod layout
• Define rod spacing and quantity
• Calculate number of rods required
Calculate the mirror blocks needed for shape
• Specify rod diameter assumptions
• Detail internal lighting cavity
• Estimate material quantities (metal, lighting components, suspension/structural support)

Deliverables Required
1. 3D AutoCAD files (.DWG)
2. Elevations + sections
3. Basic structural concept for support
4. Material take-off list (Excel or BOQ format)
5. Clear dimensions for fabrication

Designer Requirements
• Strong AutoCAD 3D modeling experience
• Experience with architectural installations or exhibition design preferred
• Ability to think through fabrication logic (not just visual modeling)
• Must provide material quantity breakdown

Additional Notes
• Installation height and width are fixed (3m H x 2.5m W)
• Models must be realistic and fabrication-oriented
• We are using this to understand material cost before production
