3D Artist for Spaceship/Game Assets
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
Description:
We’re looking for a talented 3D artist/modeler to help us design more in-game Assets. This is a space-themed MMO currently being developed in Unity, and we need high-quality spaceship models and game assets that match our visual style (sci-fi, realistic but stylized, with PBR materials).
The assets you create will be used directly in our Unity project, so they need to be properly optimized for in-game performance. That means:
Clean topology
Game-ready models (LOD levels are a plus)
PBR textures (Albedo, Normal, Metallic, Roughness, AO, Emissive if needed)
Organized UVs and naming conventions
Exported in FBX format, ready for Unity URP pipeline
What we need right now:
Several spaceships (small fighters, frigates, larger carriers)
Supporting assets (modules, structures, tools, etc.)
Consistent style across all models
We already have references and concept art to share, so you won’t be working blind.
Requirements:
Experience creating optimized game assets for Unity (please share examples).
Strong understanding of PBR workflow and texture baking.
Ability to deliver both high-poly and low-poly models when needed.
Good communication — we like to iterate quickly.
Nice to have:
Experience with sci-fi themes or spaceship design.
Knowledge of Unity URP pipeline.
How to Apply :
When you apply, please include:
A short intro about yourself and your experience.
A link to your portfolio with at least 3 game-ready sci-fi assets you’ve made.
Your estimated turnaround time per spaceship model.
A quick note on what tools you use (Blender, Maya, Substance, etc.).
Applications without a portfolio won’t be considered.
We’re looking for someone reliable who can become a long-term collaborator, not just a one-off freelancer.
