Architectural Wood Lounge Chair Design

Job ID: 40030497

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need a lounge chair whose silhouette, detailing, and construction immediately convey a clear architectural narrative. The guiding style is already defined on my end; your task is to translate those cues into a comfortable, wood-forward statement piece that can move from concept to fabrication without a hitch.

What I will be looking for:
• Concept sketches that show your reasoning and how the selected architectural elements inform the form and joinery.
• A clean, watertight 3D model (any major package is fine—Rhino, SketchUp, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, etc.) suitable for both photorealistic rendering and CAM workflows.
• Full technical/shop drawings in AutoCAD with dimensions, sections, and exploded details ready for the fabricator.
• A concise material specification sheet highlighting wood species, finishes, and any complementary accents you feel strengthen the design.

The chair must function as a lounge chair, so ergonomics and relaxed seating angles are important. Wood is mandatory for the primary structure; you’re welcome to suggest subtle secondary materials if they reinforce the overall concept.

Please include examples of past furniture or product designs—especially any work that demonstrates an ability to draw inspiration from architecture. If your portfolio shows clear stylistic translation, thoughtful detailing, and production-ready documentation, we should be a great fit.

I’m happy to answer questions about the specific architectural references or performance requirements once we’ve connected.
