3D Animation for Safety Cover Dimensions
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I have a complete set of CAD files for a rounded power-point safety cover and I need those drawings turned into a short 3D animation. The key story the animation must tell is how much clearance there is for different plugs once the cover is fitted; everything else—including overall width, height, and the distance the unit sits off the wall—should be communicated clearly but secondary to the internal space showcase.
Here is what I’m after:
• A smooth, looping 3D perspective sequence (around 15–30 seconds is fine) that starts with the cover closed on the wall, then fades or cuts to a semi-transparent view so the viewer can see the plug area inside.
• Call-outs or simple dimensional overlays highlighting internal clearance first, then the total W × H and stand-off distance.
• Output in MP4 or MOV, plus still renders if that helps convey the specs.
You’ll receive the CAD files (STEP and DWG), along with exact measurements to keep the animation accurate. Any mainstream 3D tool—Blender, 3ds Max, Fusion 360, SolidWorks Visualize, KeyShot, etc.—is fine as long as the final visuals are crisp and professional.
Please let me know the tool you prefer to use, your estimated turnaround, and one or two examples of similar technical animations you have produced.
