Job Title: 3D Animation & VFX Artist for 60-Second Automotive Product Video Project Overview We are seeking a talented 3D Animator and Visual Effects (VFX) artist to create a high-impact, premium 60-second product launch video for SafeGuard AI. SafeGuard AI is an aftermarket, patent-pending intelligent blind-spot detection system. It consists of two aerodynamic, wireless sensor pods that attach to a vehicle's exterior side mirrors, and one dedicated display that sits on the interior dashboard. Note: We are currently in the prototyping phase and do not have physical production units to film. The entire video must be built using 3D product animations and visual effects tracked onto high-quality automotive stock footage. Scope of Work One (1) Master Video: 60 seconds, 16:9 widescreen format, 4K resolution, 24fps or 30fps.Two (2) Social Cutdowns: 15-second versions in 9:16 vertical format (optimized for Meta/TikTok ads). Asset Delivery: Final rendered files plus fully packaged, organized source project files (e.g., Blender, Cinema4D, After Effects). What We Provide Finalized 3D engineering files of the product (.STP / .STL formats).Vector branding logo assets (.AI / .SVG).A fully finalized, locked 60-second voiceover script. What the Artist Must Provide Sourcing of high-quality, realistic automotive stock footage (both exterior driving shots and interior driver-perspective shots).Photorealistic texturing of the 3D models (matte UV-stabilized automotive plastic, glass/polycarbonate lenses, internal green circuit boards).Seamless motion-tracking of the 3D models onto moving vehicles in stock footage. Basic text overlays/motion graphics, professional sound design, and licensed background music. Key Scenes to Animate The Reveal: A sleek, photorealistic "beauty spin" of the pod on a clean background. An exploded-view animation showing the inner battery and AI microprocessor chip. The Installation: A digital simulation showing a hand cleanly pressing the 3D pod onto a standard car's side mirror via pre-applied tape. The Function Simulation: From an interior driving perspective, a vehicle enters the blind spot. The artist will digitally place our indicator display on the stock dashboard, showing it light up solid amber, then flash red with a warning chime as the vehicle gets closer. Style Reference The visual style must feel premium, tech-focused, and highly credible—similar to an Apple, Tesla, or DJI product introduction video. Clean lighting, smooth camera sweeps, and crisp transitions are a must. Budget & Timeline Estimated Budget: $1,500 – $2,500 USD (Open to fixed-price milestones based on experience).Timeline: 3 to 4 weeks total production time. To Apply, Please Provide: A link to your portfolio or show reel highlighting photorealistic 3D product animations and live-action VFX tracking. A brief mention of what 3D software (Blender, Cinema4D, Maya) and compositing tools you use. Your estimated timeline to complete a first draft layout upon receiving our CAD files.
