SCENE 1 – POLICE DOG ACADEMY (MORNING)
[Light, upbeat music plays. Poppy and Cooper enter the police dog training centre wearing matching bowties.]
COOPER (sniffing the air):
Do you smell that, Poppy?
POPPY (sniffs):
Adventure?
COOPER:
No… beef jerky. But adventure works too!
[Rex enters wearing sunglasses WAY too big for his face. Dramatic “cool dog” music plays — record scratch as he trips over a cone.]
REX (popping up):
Nailed it!
POPPY (giggles):
You must be Officer Rex!
REX:
In the fur! I’m top dog around here. Detective. Leader. Master of... well, mostly falling down but also justice.
SCENE 2 – MYSTERY ALARM!
[A big red alarm BELL rings. Everyone freezes dramatically.]
SERGEANT SNOUT (enters, very serious):
Listen up, mutts! The Golden Bone Trophy has been stolen from the police museum!
[GASP! Zoom in on shocked dog faces.]
COOPER:
Not the Golden Bone! That thing’s... GOLDEN!
REX (pulls out magnifying glass, which instantly breaks):
This looks like a case for the Pup Patrol.
POPPY (winking):
Let’s paw to it!
SCENE 3 – CLUE HUNT
[The team investigates: silly detective montage with funny spy music.]
Rex sniffs a hot dog cart and accidentally eats the evidence
Cooper chases his own tail thinking it's a clue
Poppy finds real evidence: sunglasses and a trail of marshmallows
POPPY:
Only one animal leaves a trail of toasted sugar and attitude…
ALL:
The Sneaky Ferret!
SCENE 4 – SCOOTER CHASE THROUGH THE PARK!
[Sneaky Ferret zips by on a tiny scooter with the Golden Bone strapped to his back.]
SNEAKY FERRET (laughing):
Toodle-ooo, you slowpokes!
REX (strikes a pose):
Time to roll out!
[Trips over his own leash.]
I meant… casually jog out.
[Cue hilarious chase scene with goofy music:]
Rex crashes into a hot dog stand and ends up wearing a bun as a hat
Cooper tries to ride a skateboard and ends up spinning in circles
Poppy takes a shortcut through a dog tunnel and ends up outsmarting the Ferret
POPPY (blocks Ferret):
End of the line, sugar paws!
SCENE 5 – CELEBRATION
[The Golden Bone is returned. Police dogs cheer. Confetti made of dog biscuits falls from the sky.]
SERGEANT SNOUT:
Today, we honor our newest honorary officers: Poppy and Cooper! And… Rex, for not wrecking everything.
REX (eating confetti):
Teamwork makes the tail wag!
COOPER (posing in a too-big police hat):
Can I be in charge of snacks?
POPPY:
You already are.
SCENE 6 – BACK HOME, BEDTIME
[Poppy and Cooper snuggle up in their bed, with Rex’s police hat sitting nearby.]
COOPER (sleepily):
Do you think we’ll solve more mysteries?
POPPY:
Only if Rex doesn’t eat the clues again.
[They giggle. Screen fades to stars above the city.]
NARRATOR (V.O.):
And so ends another tail-wagging adventure for Poppy, Cooper... and one wobbly police pup named Rex.
