Alex Lion Film-Ready Model
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a production-quality 3D model of Alex the lion from DreamWorks’ Madagascar that can drop straight into an animated-film pipeline. The asset has to match the on-screen character in silhouette, proportions, and surface detail—right down to his mane and paw pads—so that viewers will not notice any deviation from the original.
The mesh must arrive fully UV-unwrapped, textured, and rigged for both body and facial animation. Topology should be clean, all quads where possible, with edge flows that accommodate squash-and-stretch as well as expressive poses. Please keep the rig controller layout intuitive; I am working in Maya but will happily accept a universal FBX or, if you prefer, an OBJ accompanied by a separate Maya rig file.
Deliverables
• Alex the Lion model in FBX or OBJ format
• High-resolution PBR texture maps (diffuse, roughness, normal, specular)
• Animation-ready rig (body + face) with zeroed T-pose
• Turntable preview video showing deformations and facial range
Acceptance criteria
1. Visual fidelity: indistinguishable likeness when compared side-by-side with official reference images.
2. Deformation test: no mesh collapse or texture stretching during extreme poses.
3. File integrity: opens with no missing textures or broken constraints.
Attach a few stills or a shaded turntable from your portfolio that proves you have tackled stylised animal characters before, and let me know your estimated turnaround time.
