Acrylic Robo Car Chassis Design

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I’m building a small, two-wheel drive robo car kit that my high-school students can assemble in class, and I need a purpose-built acrylic chassis they can cut or laser-etch on campus. The design must be:

• Sized for high-school workshops—no difficult curves that a basic laser cutter can’t handle.
• Cut from standard 3 mm (⅛ in) clear or coloured acrylic sheet.
• Equipped with an adjustable wheelbase so students can experiment with handling and sensor placement.
• Pre-drilled mounting holes for common sensors (ultrasonic modules, line-tracking arrays, IR) and a small hobby servo.
• A dedicated battery compartment sized for a 4-cell AA holder or a 2-cell Li-ion pack, with room for a toggle switch.

Deliverables I’m looking for:
1. Parametric CAD files (STEP or Fusion 360) plus ready-to-cut DXF/SVG.
2. A brief assembly guide (PDF or DOCX) that shows screw sizes, standoff lengths and where the electronics sit.
3. A quick bill of materials so I can source the fasteners locally.

Please keep the design modular and easy to tweak—I want to be able to move holes or lengthen the chassis without redrawing everything from scratch. If you’ve done classroom robot frames before, even better; share a sample image or two so I can see your style.
