ABS Circuit Board Case Design
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a reference photo, the PCB itself, and precise board measurements; now I need a clean, print-ready 3D model that I can drop straight into the slicer. I’ll be printing in ABS, so the enclosure must account for the material’s typical shrinkage and warping characteristics.
Key points to incorporate:
• Mounting holes exactly where they appear in the photo
• Cut-outs for every required access port
• The same surface texture indicated in the reference image
Deliverables:
1. Final model in STL (and, if possible, STEP) ready for FDM printing
2. A brief note on recommended wall thickness, tolerances, and any ABS-specific design tweaks
3. One round of minor revisions after test-fit, if needed
When you respond, focus on your relevant experience designing functional ABS parts for 3D printing. A short portfolio link or two is more useful than a long proposal—show me similar enclosures you’ve done and we’ll move quickly to awarding the project.
