Wearable Grooming Guide CAD Prototype -- 2

Job ID: 40309894

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I have a granted patent for a small, wearable grooming-guide that combines static supports with a few smoothly movable parts—no electronics involved. You will receive the full written patent specification (dimensions included), a concise design brief, and several AI-generated concept renderings the moment we start, so you can dive straight into modelling without back-and-forth discovery.

The goal is a production-ready CAD package that I can drop onto a 3D printer loaded with PLA and come away with a matte-finished prototype that demonstrates all mechanical functions. That means designing each component with realistic print tolerances, integrating simple friction-fit or pin-joint movement where specified in the brief, and ensuring the assembled unit sits comfortably on the hand as described in the patent.

Deliverables I expect:
• Parametric source files in a mainstream mechanical CAD platform (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or comparable).
• Print-ready STL (or 3MF) files for every part, optimized for PLA.
• An exploded view and lightweight assembly guide so I can confirm clearances and test the moving sections.

If you have experience tuning clearances for PLA’s typical 0.2 mm layer height and achieving a consistent matte finish through print settings or mild post-processing, you will be an excellent fit. I’m available to answer clarifying questions promptly, but all core dimensions and functional details are already documented, so you should be able to progress quickly.
