Vectorize 30 Construction Details
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I have thirty hand-drawn details that document a cyclone-resistant, steel-framed house—including footing junctions, bracing layouts, roof-wall interfaces and fastener schedules. These sketches need to become clean, publication-ready vector illustrations for a technical design manual.
You’ll receive high-resolution scans of each drawing. Your task is to recreate every line, hatch, leader and note in Adobe Illustrator, maintaining all engineering dimensions, scales and construction call-outs exactly as shown. The manual relies on precise information, so no geometry or text can shift, round or drop out.
Style & formatting
• Detailed rendering, not minimalist; replicate line weights, linetypes and hatch patterns so the graphics read clearly even when printed at A4.
• All existing labels and annotations must appear in the artwork as editable text on a dedicated layer.
• Use consistent fonts and a logical layer structure (e.g., outlines, hatching, dimensions, text).
• Colour is optional; if it improves legibility, keep it subtle and limited to standard drafting conventions.
Deliverables
1. One layered .AI file per drawing, sized for print at 1:1 scale.
2. A compiled PDF set for quick review.
3. A brief change log noting any clarifications you required and the fixes applied.
Acceptance criteria
• Every dimension, angle and note matches the source sketch.
• Vector lines are crisp with no stray anchor points; curves remain true to scale.
• Text is fully editable; no fonts are outlined.
• Files open error-free in the latest Illustrator release.
If you’ve produced structural or architectural graphics before, please include a sample that shows your attention to dimensional accuracy. I’m ready to start as soon as I can see one test sheet completed to spec.
