3D Turret Base Redesign
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
I have a 3-D printed auto-turret from the game Rust, but the internal cavity of the current model is too tight. I need the CAD updated so every electronic I’m using can sit comfortably while the original motor mount remains exactly the same size and position.
The parts that must fit are:
• Motor (mount stays unchanged)
• Mini motherboard
• LED cords and all cable connections
Your task is to re-engineer the interior: trim wall thickness where feasible, reshape supports, or—even if it means scaling the whole shell—create the extra volume those components require. If an external up-size proves best, I’ll send via email the existing printed pieces for precise measurement.
Deliverables
• Revised CAD files (STL or STEP) ready for printing
• A quick note on the key dimensional changes you made
Acceptance
The print will be considered successful once the motor slides into its original slot without play and the remaining electronics nest inside with room for wiring and airflow.
