Tritan Water Bottle Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I want to turn my concept for a large-volume reusable water bottle into production-ready reality. The bottle must be made from Tritan plastic—chosen specifically for its clarity, durability and BPA-free safety, which I prefer over PET or HDPE. I need two sizes produced: roughly ½-gallon (about 1.9 L) and 1-gallon (3.8 L).
The design should feature an ergonomic handle that is integrated into the side of the bottle like a Molded grip – a grip area created during the blow-molding process. or a Recessed grip or grip indentation – the sunken area your fingers fit into., a wide-mouth opening that fits your hand for easy cleaning, a leak-proof screw cap with a tether, and an area for logo embossing or silk-screen printing. Please keep common blow-molding constraints in mind, recommend wall-thicknesses and parting-line placement, and confirm the design meets FDA food-contact guidelines.
Deliverables:
• 3D CAD models (STEP/IGES plus native files) ready for injection or blow-mold tooling
• 2D manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances and Tritan material call-outs
• High-quality renderings for marketing mock-ups
• Brief manufacturing note covering resin grade, colourant options and any special processing advice
An initial draft within one week would be ideal, followed by a round or two of refinements until everything is factory-ready.
