Tree-Protection Plan for Construction Site

Job ID: 40564318

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

I need a detailed, site-specific plan that will keep several mature, old-growth trees safe while construction work takes place nearby. The document must spell out practical measures—root protection zones, fencing locations, ground compaction limits, and any pruning that may be required—so my contractor can follow it without guesswork and my permitting office can sign off quickly.

You are free to build the plan in CAD, GIS, or another drafting platform, but the final files must arrive as both an editable drawing (DWG or similar) and a clear PDF for field crews. Please reference the latest ISA and BS5837 guidelines where they apply, note any local regulations you think I should flag, and include a concise schedule of inspections.

Acceptance criteria
• Accurate mapping of each affected tree with trunk diameter, canopy spread, and root protection radius
• Construction-safe fencing layout and material spec
• Step-by-step method statement for excavation, equipment access, and storage within the site
• Monitoring checklist I can hand to the site supervisor

If you have arboricultural credentials and experience preparing plans for active building sites, I look forward to seeing your approach and a sample of past work.
