Training Pistol Shell Catcher Design

Job ID: 40495470

Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR

I need a custom-made shell catcher engineered specifically for a single target-pistol model pardani .22 sp that I will specify once we start. The catcher is for repeated training sessions, so it has to stand up to hundreds of rounds, clip on and off in seconds, and hold enough spent cases that I am not constantly emptying it between magazines.

Please take durability, ease of attachment, and capacity as equal priorities during the design phase. I’m open to your preferred materials and fastening approaches as long as they remain lightweight and non-marring. You can work in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or a comparable CAD platform; just let me know which one so I can open the files on my end.

Deliverables:
• 3D CAD files (native + STEP/IGES)
• Exploded assembly drawing with part list
• Simple instruction sheet or short video showing attachment/removal
• Any printing or machining recommendations required for a first prototype

Acceptance criteria: the catcher must fit the named pistol without impeding sights or controls, collect every ejected case from a full magazine, and survive a 500-round test without cracks, warping, or loosening.

If you’ve designed firearms accessories before, especially shell catchers or brass deflectors, that experience will be a plus.
