3D Feature Extraction (30ha Landfill Site) from LiDAR (.LAZ) and Orthophoto
Project Description:
"I am looking for a GIS/Topography expert to extract 3D vector features for a 30-hectare Landfill / Waste Management site.
Data provided:
1 Point Cloud file (.LAZ).
1 High-resolution Orthophoto (GeoTIFF).
Deliverables:
A 3D DXF or DWG file containing the following features:
Top of embankments/ridges (Crêtes de talus / Cordon).
Bottom of embankments/toe of slopes (Pieds de talus).
Ditch flowlines (Fil d'eau des fossés).
Vegetation boundaries (Limits of bushes, shrubs, and forest areas).
Specific Technical Requirements:
Landfill context: The site is a waste disposal center. Accuracy on slopes and drainage is essential.
Precision on small relief: There are small earth embankments (cordon) approximately 30cm high. You must ensure the 3D polylines are accurately snapped to the ground points.
Vegetation limits: Please provide boundaries for forested areas and thick bushes.
Volume of work: The total area to be processed is approximately 30 hectares.
The lines must be continuous 3D polylines (with Z elevation).
Software preferred: Global Mapper, Civil 3D, or Carlson.
I will release the payment only after checking the 3D accuracy of the breaklines in AutoCAD.
