Ten-Inch Building Print Model

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I want to turn my 180-million-triangle photogrammetry capture of a building into a clean, watertight file that prints nicely at just ten inches tall. Because this is strictly for personal display, I only need the overall structure—no intricate façade details or tiny textures. Think of it as a faithful silhouette that still feels like the building, not a miniature packed with micro-features.

Here is what I already have:
• A full–resolution OBJ from RealityCapture (≈180 M tris)
• A set of high-resolution reference photos for any missing areas

What I need from you:
• Decimate, retopologize, or build.f from ground up the scan down to a sensible polycount for FDM/SLA printing while preserving the basic massing and recognisable rooflines.
• Close holes, remove stray geometry, and ensure the model is fully manifold.
• Scale it correctly so the final height is 10" (254 mm) and maintain proportional dimensions elsewhere.
• Deliver a print-ready STL (and, if convenient, a lightweight OBJ for future edits).

I’m comfortable with popular workflows—Blender, ZBrush, MeshLab, or similar—so use whichever tools suit you best. As long as the finished file slices cleanly in Bamboo labs without non-manifold or flipped-normal errors, I’ll be happy.
