Surpac String to DXF & Vulcan

Job ID: 39884220

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

I have a geological Surpac .str file that I need converted into two separate outputs: a clean 3D DXF for CAD review and a Vulcan triangulation file ready for modelling. The geological integrity of the strings must be preserved; no decimation or re-sampling that could shift contacts or boundaries.

You can use whichever workflow you prefer—Surpac, Vulcan, Datamine, Leapfrog, Python scripting with GDAL/OASIS, etc.—as long as the final DXF opens flawlessly in AutoCAD / Civil 3D and the triangulation imports directly into Vulcan without repair. Please outline the exact software (and version) you plan to use so I can match it to our internal licences.

Deliverables
• 3D DXF file, georeferenced in the same coordinate system as the source
• Vulcan triangulation (.00t or equivalent) built from the same dataset

I’ll supply the original .str file immediately on award and can run a spot-check in Vulcan to confirm accuracy before sign-off.
