Subtle CAD Shape and Dimension Updates
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I already have a fully-modelled 3D CAD file and now need a few precise edits before it heads to manufacture. The job is confined to selected surfaces only; the rest of the model stays exactly as is.
The two areas that need attention are:
• Curvature or angles
• Dimensions or measurements
In practice, this means softening or sharpening specific curves and tweaking a couple of critical dimensions so they match new engineering specs I will provide. No components are being added or removed—just clean, surgical adjustments to existing geometry.
You’ll receive the native file plus STEP for reference. Send back the updated native file in the same format along with a STEP/IGES export so I can cross-check in my viewer. A quick screen grab highlighting the modified zones would be helpful for sign-off.
Accuracy matters more than speed, but if you can turn this around within a day or two, that’s ideal.
