Structural Shed Plans for Council

Job ID: 40437200

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

I’m lodging a building permit application with my local Australian council and need a complete, engineer-ready drawing set for a simple storage shed. The shed footprint is 6 m wide by 8 m deep with a 5° skillion roof, 2.6 m eaves on the low side and whatever height the pitch dictates on the high side. Three sides are enclosed; the high side remains open. It sits on a 120 mm concrete slab and the entire frame must be timber with clearly detailed structural connections in the drawings. Roof and wall cladding is Monument Colourbond, and there are no windows, skylights, electrical or plumbing services to consider.

What I need from you:
• Full structural drawings, plans, elevations, sections and connection details that satisfy the NCC and relevant Australian Standards.
• Slab layout, reinforcement schedule and tie-down/anchor specs.
• Framing plan for walls and roof showing member sizes, fixing patterns and bracing.
• Roof plan with gutter/fall information matching the 5° pitch.
• Material take-off and notes suitable for council submission.
• Editable CAD files (DWG/DXF) plus print-ready PDFs.

I’ll submit these to council, so I’ll likely receive requests for minor tweaks; please allow for reasonable revisions until approval is achieved.
