Structural CAD Designer Needed for Slim Wall-Mounted Media & Electric Insert Frame System
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am looking for an experienced product designer / CAD engineer to help develop a modular wall-mounted steel framing system for recessed linear appliances and media wall applications.
The product is an ultra-slim steel chassis system designed to mount directly to existing wall studs and later be covered with cement board, tile, plaster, MDF panels, stone veneer, or other decorative finishes.
The system will support a recessed front-vent linear appliance approximately 40”–50” wide while also providing structural support for finish materials and optional media mounting areas.
Key design goals:
* Ultra slim profile approximately 5” deep
* Adjustable width system
* Additional cross supports and center supports for rigidity
* Support for cement board and tile finishes
* Flat-pack / knock-down assembly
* Easy screw-together installation
* Designed for sheet metal manufacturing and laser-cut fabrication
* Strong, lightweight, and easy to ship
* Designed as a universal modular chassis system
