I have a set of stormwater drawings that now need a fully itemised bill of quantities. The scope covers everything that makes the system work—from the main pipes and culverts through to manholes, catch basins, junction boxes, fittings and any ancillary structures shown on the plans.
Deliverables I expect:
• An Excel (or equivalent) BOQ clearly broken down by item, diameter/size, length, count and unit rate column left ready for pricing.
• A short assumptions sheet noting any drawing discrepancies, rounding rules or take-off conventions you apply.
• A marked-up PDF or CAD file that shows the measurement traces so I can audit quantities quickly.
Please base the measurement on recognised industry best practices; no local code citations are necessary at this stage. If you normally use tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam or similar, feel free to keep to your preference as long as the exported data is clean and traceable. Let me know your estimated turnaround time and any clarifications you need before you start so the workflow stays smooth for both of us.
