Storage Shed Steel Fabrication Drawings

I have the shed permits and design
I need fabrication drawings for each beam with all measurements
If you haven't done fabrication drawings experience please don't apply
Just the steel beams need drawn up
I already have the exact footprint, elevations and connection points for a mild-steel storage shed; what’s missing is a clear, workshop-ready documentation package so the fabrication team can get cutting and welding straight away. The task is to translate my dimensional sketches into fully detailed fabrication drawings—plates, members, holes, weld symbols, the lot—so nothing is left to interpretation once the sheets hit the factory floor.
All steel members will be mild steel, so please specify sizes and grades accordingly and note any prep (cut length allowances, mitres, end caps) required for that material.
Deliverables required
• General arrangement drawing showing plan, elevations and key sections
• Individual fabrication drawings for every beam, column, brace and plate, complete with cut lists, hole charts and weld notes
• An assembly drawing that illustrates the erection sequence and bolt schedule
• Bill of materials summarising member marks, lengths, weights and quantities
• Native CAD files (e.g., AutoCAD DWG or SolidWorks) plus print-ready PDFs
Acceptance criteria
• All dimensions must match the provided measurements within ±1 mm
• Weld symbols conform to ISO or AWS notation (state which)
• Hole centres and edge distances clearly called out, no missing data
• Sheets are numbered and cross-referenced so the shop can track parts easily
If you typically produce DSTV/NC or DXF files for CNC cutting, mention that; it would be a helpful extra but not compulsory. Once I sign off the GA drawing, the rest of the package should follow the same conventions and title block.
Looking forward to a clean, unambiguous set of drawings that lets production roll without questions.
