Stone CNC Machine Design

I need a full 3-D mechanical design for a purpose-built CNC machine that will both slot and engrave stone. The concept is already sketched; once we have a signed NDA I will share dimensions, loads, layout ideas, and target production volumes.

Key parameters are fixed: the motion system will run on ball or lead screws, the cutting head will be driven by a spindle motor, and vibration control around the motor mounts is critical for surface finish on hard stone. Rails, bearings, frame stiffness, and overall assembly must all be sized to withstand abrasive dust and intermittent shock loads typical of granite and marble work.

Your task is to turn the concept into a complete production-ready package, including:

• Fully detailed 3-D CAD model of every mechanical component
• Linear‐motion selection and integration (ball/lead screw, rails, bearings)
• Motor mount and vibration isolation design for the spindle motor
• Welded or bolted machine frame and enclosure layout
• STEP files, manufacturing drawings with tolerances, and a clear BOM ready for sourcing

When you respond, please reference at least one similar CNC or special-purpose machine you have designed, state which CAD platform you will use (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, etc.), and give a realistic timeline and cost estimate for the full design package.
