Steel Shaft Design & Stress Analysis -- 2
Budget: $15 – $20 USD
I have a custom shaft geometry that I will share once we start. The job is to turn that shape into a complete steel shaft design and run a thorough stress analysis on it. I need to be confident that the final model meets safety requirements before it heads to manufacturing.
Material is fixed: steel. I will clarify the exact loading and operating conditions after I send over the drawing, but your analysis should at minimum cover static and fatigue considerations typical for rotating shafts. If you like working in ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation, Abaqus, or an equivalent FEA package, that’s perfect—use whichever you are fastest with.
Deliverables:
• Native CAD file of the finished shaft
• FEA setup files and result plots
• Short report summarising max stresses, safety factors, and any recommendations for geometry or material tweaks
Please keep your communication clear and share interim screenshots or quick videos so I can follow along while you iterate.
