6m Steel Food Trailer Frame

Job ID: 40254137

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need detailed fabrication plans for the structural skeleton of a 6-metre food trailer built entirely from steel square pipe. This trailer will operate as a mobile food vendor focused on gourmet meals, so the frame must be strong yet light enough for regular road travel and compliant with typical towing regulations.

Scope of work
• Produce a full 3-D CAD model (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) showing the complete square-pipe chassis, wall studs, roof bows, floor cross-members and tongue assembly.
• Generate engineering drawings with member sizes, weld symbols, cut lengths and joinery details ready for the fabricator.
• Factor in load points for premium kitchen equipment—space and reinforcement for items such as commercial ovens, stoves and refrigeration will be required later, so leave mounting zones and utility runs clear.
• Indicate axle position, suspension brackets and brake mounts so final weight distribution stays balanced when fully fitted out for gourmet service.
• Supply a bill of materials listing every pipe section, plate, fastener and hinge.

Acceptance criteria
The design must:
1. Fit within a 6 000 mm x 2 400 mm footprint and standard 3 500 kg gross trailer rating.
2. Use readily available metric square pipe sizes.
3. Pass a basic FEA or equivalent stress check on rough road conditions.
4. Arrive in DWG/PDF plus STEP formats for easy hand-off to the welder.

If you have food-truck or trailer-chassis experience, especially with mobile gourmet kitchens, I’d love to see similar samples when you bid.
