WA Stamped Stair & Guardrail Plans
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have an existing softwood staircase in a residential setting that now leads up to a small cold rolled metalmezzanine. I need a Washington-licensed engineer or architect to prepare permit-ready, signed and sealed drawings that document the stair “as-built” and show a code-compliant guard-rail attachment detail for the mezzanine edge.
I can supply field measurements, photos, and any sketches you need; you take it from there—verifying dimensions, creating clear plans, sections, and connection details that satisfy the current IRC and local WA amendments.
Deliverables (PDF + CAD):
• One sheet set showing the existing softwood stair, fully dimensioned and labeled as built
• One sheet with the proposed guard-rail design, attachment details, fastener specs, and load calculations
• Professional stamp (Washington State) on every sheet
Acceptance: drawings must be clear enough for county plan-check submission, with any comment revisions turned around promptly.
Let me know your typical turnaround once you have the site data and how you prefer to receive field notes.
