20 L Spray Drone CAD & BOM
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a complete CAD package for an agricultural pesticide-spraying drone that carries 20 litres of liquid. The air-frame will be built in aluminum alloy, so every structural part must be modeled with that material’s properties in mind—weight, corrosion resistance, and manufacturability through common CNC or sheet-metal processes.
Regulatory fit is essential: the design has to respect current EU standards for unmanned aerial systems used in agriculture, especially regarding maximum take-off mass, redundant flight-control placement, and fluid-containment safety. Make sure the tank mounting, pump, and spray boom layout reflect those guidelines.
Alongside the 3D model, I expect a detailed Bill of Materials covering both electrical components (motors, ESCs, flight controller, pumps, wiring, connectors) and mechanical parts (frame members, fasteners, gaskets, landing gear, tank, nozzles). Each line should include supplier or spec references so sourcing is straightforward.
Deliverables
• Native CAD files plus export (STEP/IGES)
• Assembly drawings with exploded views and basic FEA weight/stress notes
• A neatly tabulated BOM in XLSX or CSV
• Brief compliance note highlighting how the design meets the cited EU standards
That’s the full scope—once the files are ready I’ll review tolerances and clear the project for prototyping.
