2D Specs to Detailed 3D CAD
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have several straightforward 2-D specification drawings that now need to live as a single, highly detailed 3-D model. I work in AutoCAD, so please build the geometry natively there and keep every dimension true to the original call-outs—no approximations.
On hand you will receive:
• the PDF/ DWG sheets with full dimensions and notes
• reference photos that clarify form and fit
What I need back:
• the complete AutoCAD file, fully parametric and cleanly layered
• an export in STL ready for downstream CAM/3-D print checks
• any auxiliary files you used (blocks, reference images, etc.)
Acceptance criteria
• All critical dimensions must match the 2-D specs to ±0.1 mm
• Surfaces free of gaps or non-manifold edges (STL must pass basic integrity tests)
• File opens error-free in the latest AutoCAD and a standard slicer
