SolidWorks Sheet Metal Documentation
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I will supply a single SolidWorks STEP file (already used for laser-cut programming) along with a sample layout that shows the presentation style I expect. From these references I need a complete drawing package for about thirty-five sheet-metal parts and their hardware.
The parts are sheet metal parts and hardware, and every drawing must follow ISO standards. I also want the assembly drawings to be highly detailed with all dimensions clearly shown so nothing is left to interpretation by the shop floor.
Deliverables
• Individual shop drawings for each part: flat pattern, bend lines, material callouts, quantity notes.
• A fully dimensioned exploded assembly drawing covering the entire build.
• A Bill of Materials cross-referenced to drawing balloons, listing all hardware, material gauges, finishes, and quantities.
Acceptance criteria
• ISO-compliant title blocks across all sheets.
• All holes, bends, slots, and critical datums called out with exact dimensions.
• BOM line items match balloon numbers in the assembly drawing.
• Native SolidWorks 2020+ files (.SLDPRT, .SLDASM) and PDF exports open without errors.
If a dimension or feature needs adjustment for manufacturability, flag the change directly on the drawing so it is impossible to miss. Once the first part drawing is approved, we will move through the remaining files quickly to meet production deadlines.
