SolidWorks STL & STEP Model
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a fully dimensioned mechanical-part drawing that now needs to live in SolidWorks. Your job is to recreate the geometry exactly as shown, respecting every tolerance called out in the print. Because the part will ultimately be machined in metal, please keep machinability in mind while modelling—clean feature transitions, sensible fillets or chamfers where shown, and no geometry that would trap the cutter.
When the model is complete, export two files:
• STL, and correctly scaled, ready for a quick 3D-print fit check
• STEP, preserving the feature tree where possible so I can tweak the design later
I’ll verify the work by overlaying your STEP against the original drawing and by running a basic print of the STL, so dimensional fidelity is critical. Let me know if any call-outs on the drawing are unclear before you begin; otherwise, I’m expecting an exact digital twin of what’s on the page.
