SolidWorks Robot Chassis Design
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m building a robot vehicle whose frame must confidently carry heavy loads, and I need a detailed 3-D CAD model of the chassis created in SolidWorks/Fusion 360 or any preferred software by the freelancer. I already have a rough envelope for length, width, and wheelbase, but I’m counting on you to help refine those numbers so the structure remains strong yet as light as practical.
The model should factor in typical mounting points for motors, batteries, and other sensors and components, and be organised as a clean, fully-constrained SolidWorks/Fusion 360 model, or any preferred software. I will use the output for finite-element checks and eventually for fabrication, so accuracy and clear feature naming are important.
Deliverables
• Native SolidWorks part & assembly files
• STEP/IGES export for cross-platform reviews
• A brief drawing pack with key overall dimensions and material / thickness call-outs
> IMP I need the files in .dxf for laser cutting the chassis design so please look at it as well
Once I sign off on the CAD, I’ll handle the FEA and manufacturing prep myself, but if you can suggest quick weight-saving tweaks or bracket ideas along the way, that would be appreciated.
