SolidWorks Multiformat File Export
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have roughly 30 native SolidWorks models that I need to repurpose across three different platforms. Each model must be exported as:
• a Revit-ready STEP file
• a SketchUp-ready .SKP file
• a 3ds Max-ready .FBX file
Please keep geometry, materials, scale and orientation intact so the files drop straight into Revit, SketchUp and 3ds Max without extra tweaking. For easy tracking I want every exported file to keep its original base name, simply adding the relevant suffix: _STEP, _SKP or _FBX.
The files are relatively simple lighting products. They are Solidworks assemblies, usually with around 6-12 parts, but not very complicated or large files.
Deliverables
• About 90 converted files (30 models × 3 formats) organised in clearly labelled folders or a single compressed archive.
• Quick test screenshots proving that each format opens correctly in its target software.
If you routinely move data between SolidWorks, Revit, SketchUp and 3ds Max and can turn this around accurately, I’d love to hand the package over to you.
