SolidWorks Automotive Part Prototype
Budget: ₹100 – ₹300 INR
I have an automotive component that has moved past the concept stage and now needs to be built out in SolidWorks as a fully-functional, production-ready model. The goal is to have a file set that can go straight to tooling or rapid manufacturing without additional re-work.
Here is what I need from you:
• A parametric 3D model of the part in SolidWorks, built with clean, well-named feature history so later edits are straightforward.
• All mating assemblies (if any) completed and checked for clearances, tolerances, and proper motion.
• Fully detailed 2D drawings with dimensions, GD&T, material call-outs, and notes suitable for a machine shop.
• A simple Bill of Materials generated from the model.
• Exported STEP/IGES files for compatibility with other software in our workflow.
Acceptance criteria
• Fits the provided interface points and overall envelope (I will share a reference CAD or sketches).
• No rebuild errors; model passes SolidWorks “Evaluate > Check.”
• Drawings print cleanly at A3 size and show all critical dimensions.
• All files open correctly in SolidWorks 2022 or newer.
If you have experience designing functional automotive parts—especially ones that must survive real-world loads and meet manufacturing constraints—let’s talk. I can supply sketches, reference photos, and key dimensions as soon as we start.
