Snack-Preparing Vending Mechanism Design

Job ID: 39807025

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I’m developing a new vending machine that doesn’t just sell pre-packed items—it actually prepares snacks such as chips or cookies on demand. I already know the product range and the preferred packaging (paper bags); what I’m missing is a complete mechanism that can handle every in-machine step: heating the raw product, cutting it to portion size, adding flavours/seasonings, and finally sealing each serving in a paper bag ready for delivery.

What I’m looking for is a practical, production-ready mechanical solution. That means a drivetrain and layout that fit a vending-machine form factor, food-safe materials, reliable heating elements, precision cutters, flavour-dispensing hoppers, and an integrated packaging module. Your design should be detailed enough for fabrication and easy to service in the field.

Deliverables
• 3D CAD files (STEP or SolidWorks) showing the full mechanism
• Exploded views and assembly drawings with part numbers
• Bill of Materials including off-the-shelf components and food-grade specifications
• Basic control logic diagram outlining sensor and actuator points
• Recommendations on heating technology, safety interlocks, and cleaning/maintenance access

Acceptance Criteria
The design must fit within a standard single-column vending footprint, achieve consistent snack weight ±5 %, fill and seal paper bags leak-free, and meet standard food-contact regulations (e.g., FDA or EU equivalents).

If you have prior experience with automated food equipment, compact packaging lines, or vending machines, I’d love to review examples alongside your proposal.
