Small Hanger Parts 3D STEP Models
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a set of custom hanger-style parts, each under 5 cm, that will be laser-cut from acrylic. I already sketched the exact profiles and dimensions on blueprint sheets; those drawings now need to be translated into clean, production-ready 3D geometry.
Your job is to recreate every component in a solid-model CAD package and deliver accurate STEP files that an acrylic manufacturer can load straight into their CAM workflow. The drawings show hole positions, relief fillets, and assembly clearances, so fidelity is critical—no artistic interpretation, just precise replication.
Preferred workflow:
• Import my scanned blueprints (PDF).
• Model each part as a watertight solid, respecting all tolerances noted.
• Export individual .step files, named exactly as indicated on the sheets.
• Provide a quick viewport screenshot or shaded PDF for visual confirmation.
I work in millimetres and will review each file against the original sketches before sign-off. If you typically use SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, or similar, that’s perfect; just ensure the final output is STEP so there are no compatibility issues for the fabricator.
Once the first piece is approved we can roll straight into the remaining set, so efficiency and consistent naming conventions will be appreciated.
