3D Sliding Locket Prototype - 05/08/2026 07:24 EDT
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I have a new sliding-mechanism locket/pocket watch in development and I’m ready for a professional 3D digital prototype. You will receive my hand-drawn sketches together with exact dimensional data so you can build an accurate CAD model that shows how both halves slide, lock, and release.
What I need from you
• A fully detailed 3D model suitable for manufacturing (STEP or SolidWorks native preferred, but STL for rapid prototyping is fine as an extra).
• High-quality renders that clearly illustrate the mechanism in open and closed positions.
• A short explanation of how you resolved tolerances for the sliding action.
I’ll supply:
– Some what Detailed sketches of every view
– Precise measurements for each component
To be considered, please link to past work that demonstrates similar mechanical or jewelry pieces you have modelled. I’ll shortlist based on proven quality, surface finish realism, and attention to moving parts.
Acceptance criteria
1. Dimensions match my provided spec within ±0.1 mm.
2. Sliding motion functions in the CAD assembly without interference with your inputs.
3. Final files open cleanly in SolidWorks 2020 or similar.
I’m looking forward to collaborating and seeing this concept come to life.
