Simple 3D Printable Cable Clip Design
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I’m looking for a CAD engineer (not a designer) to create a simple, functional cable clip for 3D printing.
This is not a premium or concept design project. The goal is a production-ready STL file that prints correctly in Bambu Studio (Bambu Lab A1) without errors.
Scope (important):
– Start with ONE simple cable clip as a test
– Designed for PLA
– Clip should securely hold USB-sized cables (approx. 4–6 mm)
– Rounded edges, simple geometry, optimized for fast printing
Technical requirements:
– Solid, manifold STL
– Flat bottom (Z = 0), no floating geometry
– No supports required
– Parametric CAD preferred (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Onshape)
If the first model prints well, this will continue as a larger project (10–12 similar clips).
Please include in your proposal:
1. CAD software you use
2. Experience with 3D printed parts
3. Price for the first test model
