Scaled CAD Vehicle Tracking – 74 Red Post Hill, London SE24 9PW
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
Project Description:
I require a scaled CAD vehicle tracking analysis for a residential site at 74 Red Post Hill, London SE24 9PW, in support of a Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) submission to Southwark Council.
The analysis must demonstrate the following “worst-case scenario” conditions as explicitly required by the council’s transport team:
Vehicle: 11m rigid builder’s merchant lorry (with side-mounted crane and stabilisers deployed).
Position: The lorry is parked immediately outside the site frontage (approx. 9m wide), tight to the kerb, with stabilisers shown in position.
Constraints:
All parking bays opposite the site are occupied.
A bus travelling northbound or southbound is stopped at the pedestrian refuge island adjacent to the site.
The bus stop box (southbound) adjacent to the site remains in use.
Demonstration required:
A northbound bus can pass safely while the delivery vehicle is in position.
A southbound bus can pass safely while the delivery vehicle is in position.
In both cases, buses must not mount kerbs or travel on the pavement at any point.
Format:
CAD drawings to scale, dimensioned, showing kerb lines, parking bays, pedestrian island, and bus stop box.
Swept path tracking outputs clearly overlaid to demonstrate clearance and manoeuvrability.
PDF outputs for inclusion in the CEMP.
Source CAD files provided (DWG/DXF).
Inputs Available:
CAD base ordnance survey map of the area (to be supplied).
Photographs and site measurements (to confirm road width 8.0m kerb-to-kerb; pavement widths; distances to bus stop and pedestrian island).
Deliverables:
2–3 scaled CAD drawings showing the swept paths for both northbound and southbound buses in relation to the delivery vehicle.
Dimensioned annotations to demonstrate clearance.
PDF drawings for planning submission.
Native CAD files (DWG/DXF).
Timescale:
Completion required within 7–10 days of appointment.
Budget:
Please provide a fixed price quotation.
