Safety Glasses CAD Model
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a production-ready 3D model of a pair of safety glasses. The design must capture every detail of the frames, lenses, and nose bridge because the file will go straight to my manufacturer for tooling.
The glasses will be molded in plastic, so wall thickness, draft angles, and any undercuts have to follow best practices for injection moulding. I already have general sketches and dimensions; your job is to translate those into a clean, fully parametric CAD file.
Deliverables
• Native CAD file (SolidWorks or Fusion 360 preferred)
• STEP and STL exports suitable for DFM review
• A quick screen recording or screenshots showing how the model is structured so later tweaks are easy
I’ll sign off once the model passes my manufacturer’s DFM check and prints successfully. If you have experience designing eyewear or other close-fit wearables, that’s a big plus—let me know in your proposal.
