STRUCTURAL ENGEEEIER

Job ID: 40124453

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’ve finalized a new product concept and now need it translated into precise CAD files that a sheet-metal shop can use straight away. The focus is on manufacturability, so every bend line, relief cut, tolerance and hardware call-out has to be crystal-clear.

Deliverables I expect:
• Parametric 3D model of the assembly and all individual parts
• Flat-pattern DXF/DWG files ready for laser or turret cutting
• Fully dimensioned 2D drawings with bend tables, material thickness and critical tolerances
• STEP or IGES exchange files for any downstream vendors

The design must be optimized for sheet metal fabrication—think correct K-factor usage, bend radii that match standard tooling, and clear notes on fasteners or welds. If you work in SolidWorks, Inventor, or a comparable package that maintains feature history, even better; I’ll need the native files so future revisions stay painless.

Let me know your typical turnaround and examples of previous sheet-metal projects so I can gauge fit. Once we’re aligned, I’ll share the current concept sketches and target materials to get you started.
