STP Conversion & DWG Drafting
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a mechanical part supplied as an .STP file and simply need it repackaged as a .STEP file—no geometry changes, no feature edits, just a clean, loss-free conversion.
Alongside the converted model, I also need a manufacturing drawing in DWG format that shows the part with basic overall dimensions and a few key annotations (hole diameters, thicknesses, tolerances if they already exist in the model). Full production notes or GD&T call-outs are not required.
Typical workflow tools such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360 or similar are all fine; the only requirement is that the exported STEP opens flawlessly and the DWG can be read directly in AutoCAD.
Deliverables
• One STEP file matching the original geometry
• One (or more, if view separation helps clarity) DWG drawing with front, side and isometric views, labelled with the basic dimensions described above
If this is straightforward for you, please let me know your turnaround time and I can get the source file to you right away.
