STL & STEP Prototype Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m preparing a patent-pending concept for a 15-inch, single-piece unit that has no moving parts. To move forward, I need a clean 3D CAD representation that will serve purely as a display prototype. The focus is on capturing the correct overall shape and surface contours—no intricate internals, textures, or mechanical detailing are necessary.
You’ll receive my sketches and dimensions, then convert them into a production-ready model. Once complete, export both an STL for 3D printing and a STEP file so other engineers can refine the design if required.
Deliverables
• Native CAD file (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or comparable)
• Optimized STL file for printing
• Standard STEP file for cross-platform editing
Please keep all dimensions precise, name features logically, and organize the model so it’s easy for downstream teams to pick up. If you’ve created similar patent-sensitive display prototypes, feel free to share a brief example or two along with your estimated turnaround.
